Rob Harris | Physiotherapist
Rob completed his BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Coventry University (UK) in 1996 and later completed his Post-Graduate MSc in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He began working in the National Health Service in 1996 and worked at several large Hospitals within the West Midlands region of England. The entirety of his work was within the field of musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He eventually progressed to attain the role of Clinical Specialist and Extended Scope Physiotherapist prior to leaving the the UK.
Rob has extensive experience and knowledge in a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. He enjoys treating individuals from all walks of life with different complaints; from Weekend Warriors to the individual who wishes simply to be able to walk their Dog. Rob has always enjoyed the interpersonal aspect of his work and enjoys working today as much as he did 25 years ago (but admits to having more wrinkles and having much less hair now)
Rob believes in the importance of a good initial assessment and diagnosis. He believes it important that the individual understands their problem and the aim of the treatment. He strives to empower the patient/client to adopt an active part in their rehabilitation and incorporates specific home exercise/advice as much as possible. Alongside this, he also incorporates hands-on work and IMS/Dry Needling where indicated.
Rob is the proud father of 3 Boys. In his spare time, Rob confesses to being a Gym Rat and is a passionate Hiker, and regularly explores the many trails and old logging roads in the Fraser Valley (he has a particular interest in complaints related to these activities).
